• The front cover art is Eddie and Gary on stage facing each other. Ed is playing his red and white striped guitar. The Van Halen logo from F.U.C.K. is underneath them and below that it says the name of the CD.
• The back cover has three photos, two corner photos are over top of one big photo. Top right hand corner has Gary, Mike and Ed on stage. Lower left hand corner has Ed playing his red and white striped guitar. The main photo in the center is the band on stage with their arms raised from behind. Lower right corner says CHEAP THRILLS in red letters outlined in yellow. On the top left hand side it says, LIVE at FAR EAST 10.29.1998.
• Track 1 Disc 1 starts out with crowd noise and AEROSMITH'S "train kept a rolling".
• Track 1 Disc 1 is spelled, "UNCHAIN" on the rear artwork.
• Track 3 Disc 1 starts out with the person doing the recording fumbling around with the mic.
• Track 4 Disc 1, Mean Street-there is a long pause after the band stops playing the start of the song. From the crowd response, you can tell that the band is playing with the audience.
• Track 1 Disc 2 starts out with Michael shouting "bonzi yehii", Gary responds "somebody get that boy a shot". "Year to the Day" has an incredible guitar solo.
• Track 1 Disc 2 is spelled, "YEAR OF THE DAY" on the rear artwork.
• Track 6 Disc 2 has a great start with a lot of jungle sounds. Listen for Gary to say "I'm koo koo for Coco Puffs!"  Alex even takes part in getting the crowd involved. Midway through the song, the band rips in to a great version of "You Really Got Me".
• Overall sound quality is "A".
