Filmed from the back of the arena. The filmer takes about 1/2 of "Jump" to get the camera set up and focused on the screen to the right of the stage. The video starts off with a shot of a ticket stub showing Seat 1 in Row 18 in Section 242 at a cost of $57.00.
Video quality is very good once the filmer gets set up. Because of the screen shot video, you gte multiple camera angles and great close ups. The biggest problem with the screen shot video is when the band plays video on the screen instead of showing the action on stage. The video is encoded at full DVD resolution with a variable bit rate. Looks like the average bit rate is about 3.65Mbsec when there isn't much going on on-screen. Higher when there's more action.
The audio is good and is encoded with 2-Channel Dolby Digital at 192Kbps.
The packaging is a slim DVD-sized digi-pak case. The front is black with the flaming globe logo, band name and location information.
The back contains two promo photos of the band along with one of Mikey and Sammy on stage from an unknown date. Sammy is wearing a flag type shirt and Mikey is playing the Yamaha JD bass. The set list is presented in a box with the following typos:
"Learning To See" is shown as "Learn To See"
The guitar solo with Wolfgang is shown as "Eddie Guitar solo w/Wolli"
The inside cover contains over a dozen still photos from this and other shows.
The image under the tray that holds the DVD is a Balance-era promo photo that is colored blue and has the EVH striped pattern set over top of it.
Released in December 2004 or early January 2005.
