Very good audience recording. At times the sound is a bit muffled. If this recording was taken from the video, the times when the camera is ducked might account for the muffled sounds.
Final performance of the "3" tour, and of Gary Cherone as the lead singer of Van Halen.
Disc 1 starts abruptly, with no fade-in.
Though "Somebody Get Me A Doctor" is noted as "Get Me A Doctor" on the track list, it is combined with "Humans Being" on the disc as one track.
Prior to the beginning of "Jamie's Cryin'", Gary yells out "I didn't forget about you MULLY!!!" and replaces "Jamie's Cryin'" with "Mully's Cryin'" in the chorus towards the end of the song. This is a reference/dedication to a VHML member who was in attendance that night.
Gary takes the time to thank the entire road crew and all of Japan for a great tour before starting "Josephina". Ed also tells the audience "We'll be back soon!".
During "Panama" Gary asks Ed "What do you feel like playin'?", and they break into a pretty full version of "You Really Got Me".
In the middle of "Jump" Ed yells "Mike, you shit your pants?", and he responds with "Yokohama! Gary Cherone just shit his drawers!".
Coverart is printed on quality paper, with a nice photo of Eddie serving as the front cover.
This being the final date of the "3" tour, the band is *really* on fire and going for broke. You can clearly hear that they are pulling out all the stops in this performance.
