Notes

• Coverart is nice. Printed on "Epson Photo Paper". Discs themseleves have a plain black label with "VAN HALEN" and "new HALEN 1028" printed in red.
• Excellent audience recording of opening night at the Budokan in Tokyo in '98 where Van Halen performed for three nights.
• The audio is a bit muffled with a little static thrown in for good measure at the beginning of "Unchained", but eventually clears up. Both discs start and end abruptly, there is no fade-in/fade-out.
• "Humans Being", for some reason, is merged with "Jamie's Cryin'" for track time. Though the track list notes 11 songs performed, the CD readout displays 10 songs.
• Gary fudges the verse "I know I don't ask for permission" of "Unchained".
• Mike and Gary do a brief trade-off during "Jamie's Cryin'".
• Judging from the crowd's reaction, and some dialogue from Gary, Mike downs a shot of sake after performing "Somebody Get Me A Doctor".
• On Disc 2, "Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love" is not the entire version. The editing process has it starting towards the very end.
• The encore, "Dirty Water Dog" (which is noted as "Dirty Water" on the track list), starts abruptly.
• "Panama" has the same "Everybody Wants Some!" intro they used towards the end of the tour.
• Overall, a very good disc, but the editing process on some areas of the discs isn't the best in the world. It appears that the person recording this show, and "New Halen1102" from Yokohama a few days later, is one and the same, judging by the almost identical titles, CD labels, record label name and the fashion in which the shows were recorded.
