Notes

• The front cover is a photo of Dave and Ed from the same time period as the recording, with Ed playing his black and white Charvel. They are bathed in red light. The Sam-era VH logo is super-imposed over them. "Van Halen" is written down the right front, with "First Eruption in OSAKA 1978" across the bottom front.
• The back cover is a posterized photo of Dave and Ed live, also from around the same time period as the recording. Ed is once again playing his black and white striped Charvel, Dave is on his knee in a crouched position. You can see part of Mike in the background.
• Both discs are silkscreened black, but are not identified which is disc 1 or disc 2.
• "Where Were You" is incorrect..the track is actually "Down in Flames".
• "D.O.A." is missing from the setlist printed on the back cover.
• The overall sound quality is decent, probably an audience recording judging from the slight distance in the sound. (b+/b)
