Notes

• The photos used are appropriate 1984 era shots of the band with a group shot of the band with a retouched background and nice, computer drawn VH logo on the cover.
• The inside cover has a bizzare shot of pot plants, a quote from a Loverboy song(!) and dedications to a host of imaginary characters such as "Dickman", "Diaboboolo", and so on.
• The disc is a white faced green CD-R with the disc title stamped (as in rubber stamped, really!) in black. The artwork insert and tray insert are printed in full color.
• An audience recording, probably from the original tape as there is virtually no hiss and the sound is pretty clean.
• On the negative side, since this was an outdoor show and the taper probably was a good distance away from the stage, the sound has a lot of dry, outdoor "ambiance" and there is a lot of background chatter throughout the show which is really distracting as the people talking nearby is as loud as the concert. In all fairness, as the show goes on, it becomes less annoying. Overall sound a solid "B".
• The show itself was a pretty good outdoor show from the last couple months of the 1984 tour although the band cut a few songs (Girl Gone Bad, Cathedral, Jamie's Cryin') during this leg of the tour as they were playing as support to AC/DC and had a shorter time slot.
• Since this is one disc, the show is edited to fit 74 minutes worth of space and the biggest loss is "Everybody Wants Some" and "Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love/Happy Trails" which is completely omitted. The rest of the songs are pretty much complete although there is a quick pause in the first minute of "Panama" that skips a couple seconds of the tune.
